4th of July “Leftovers” retail edition :)

By: Hannah Rose Marie

So you bought your bright red pants, or your blazing blue top, or maybe even all of the above for your Fourth of July parties. You wore your red, white, and blue, you ate the BBQ chicken, you shot endless amounts of fireworks, and all in all you conquered the day….now it’s the end of the week and you’re staring at the pieces you bought thinking, “Well, I guess I’ll store these for next year’s Fourth of July”… FALSE my friends!! You can take the pieces you wore and make them work for the rest of the Summer and even into early Fall. I am here to show you how to transform your “4th of July” look, into your everyday look!

Let’s start with these Red James&Jim maternite red pants. My dear friends, do not be scared of COLOR and going bold! If you are nervous you can’t “pull off” colored bottoms, let me re assure you, you can 🙂 The great thing about purchasing colored denim/pants, is that they are still going to be a HUGE trend for the Fall. So do not be weary, they were a great investment:) These two looks below would be great for the rest of the summer. The photo on the left scream summer trends. I mean how cute is this Japanese Weekend top with geometric shapes and bright colors. It’s vibrant and super flattering. Don’t be nervous to wear color on color, it works! The photo on the right is also great for Summer, wear the white top you already had for the Fourth and just add a light summer scarf and you are ready to go.
This next photo which still includes the James&Jim maternite pants are a great transition into your night look and introducing your Fall wardrobe. As fall starts rolling around, throw on a light cardigan like this striped one from Olian, or go from day to night in this black silk top by Daniel Rainn. Both looks are adorable and will get you prepped for Fall!

Our second “leftover” look are these bright blue denim. Now how chic and adorbs is this outfit!? Feel confident rocking your bump in head to toe Maternal America accented with this sassy Storksak diaper bag. This look will also be great for Fall by adding a great blazer or leather jacket.
In keeping with the bright blue denim are these two photos. Great “how to” transition from Summer into Fall by just adding a cardigan. An easy, fun, and stylish transition piece!

Now I know a huge amount of us probably lived in some style tank for the Fourth. I have a feeling no matter where you live, there was sun and high temperatures…unless it was Antarctica, or maybe Hawaii which always seems to have the most perfect weather on this planet I like to call Earth… but anyways! What I am getting at is, I know you are probably reading this and saying, “what the heck can I do with a tank, Hannah?” Well I am glad you asked 🙂 This Michael Stars one size fits all tank works perfect for work with black slacks and this Olian striped cardigan. If a blazer is more work appropriate for your profession, then throw on a blazer and some pumps and you are work ready!

Last but not least of the Fourth of July “leftovers” is this great red one shoulder Maternal America top. This top is a great transition piece to go from work to night out on the town. Pair the red one shoulder with Rosie Pope’s A line black skirt for work, and add this statement cuff and flashy gold earrings for night. You can also make this top work for Fall by adding dark wash skinny jeans, a leather jacket, and some boots.

Now that I have shown you some “how to’s”, be confident that you can wear your red, white, and blue for the rest of the summer and into Fall!

Ciao for now!
