Here we Grow…Our First

We are 18 weeks today!
Today is the big day! We find out if baby Allen is a he or a she. We are going to have a 3D/4D ultrasound at First Look on Magazine Street in New Orleans. I have no intuition about the sex of the baby nor do I have a preference. (I am just SO excited to start a family!) However, the Chinese calendar predicts a boy and I hear it is pretty accurate.
Has anyone used the Chinese calendar? If so was it right or wrong?
We are having a reveal party tonight so check back for more pictures to see if our baby is going to be dressed in pink or blue!
Our baby’s size is compared to a Bell Pepper. Love Bell Peppers!
No Chinese calendar predicted both my boys incorrectly.

It was wrong for me, it said girl and we are having a boy!
One calendar told me boy the other told me girl…I’m just glad it wasn’t a combo!
It was right for me…..(boy)……but as Josh (Hubby) always said…… It’s a 50/50 chance! Lol
Recently my friend Ashley (20 wks) did an inteligender test for fun the day before her ultrasound and that was wrong!! She’s having a baby girl!!
So happy for y’all and whatever the gender may be y’all will have a beautiful, healthy, blessed lil bebé!!

Well the Chinese Calendar worked for us! It’s a Boy! This is so exciting.
We can’t stop smiling when we think of him…Stay tuned for my next post this Friday.
Hopefully we will have a name to announce for our sweet baby boy.
